WHENEVER ANYONE, ANYWHERE REACHES OUT FOR HELP, I WANT THE HAND OF AA TO BE THERE. FOR THAT I AM RESPONSIBLE
There are no dues or fees for AA membership. We are so glad you are here, especially the newcomer.
Our 3rd Tradition states that the only requirement for AA membership is a desire to stop drinking.
Our 7th Tradition states that every AA group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions.
If you would like to support the Wimberley Group, please note that our venmo is currently under construction. The new venmo address will be posted here soon.
In the meantime,
Feel free to mail a check or money order to

Whenever anyone reaches out for help, we want the hand of AA to be there. In that spirit, we are looking for sober alcoholics to take meetings into jails, hospitals and institutions like rehab units and treatment centers. If you have a little sober time and are working the steps with a sponsor, you might be the perfect person to spread the message of recovery.
Click the link below to access materials and applications for volunteering!
Carry the message to still suffering alcoholics. Buddy up and make a house call when someone reaches out to AA. More information to come.
You can sign up to take a shift answering the hotline for a couple of hours from your very own phone. More information to come.
We had a Group Conscience meeting 4/16/23 and have some new volunteers as well as folks who have 're-enlisted' for their service positions~ serving their group for fun and for free! We are still looking for an alternate chair person and an alternate GSR.
Some things we discussed at the last meeting are:
Buying some BigBooks in Spanish for Corrections Facilities
Having a Group Inventory in the Fall
PICPC Conference in August
Sign up sheets for area 12 step calls and taking shifts answering the hotline
Adding announcements for H&I/ Corrections/ hotline-12 step calls to binder.
Moving our monthly "clean the building" party to 5pm on the last Saturday of every month. So we'll clean up before and after the Birthday Night!
